The Dior saddle bag is one of the classic styles of the Dior brand, first introduced in the spring/summer collection in 1999, designed by the then creative director John Galliano. The Bag was named “Saddle Bag” because its shape was inspired by a saddle. The Dior saddle bag is unique in its design, with a curved semi-circle shape and a metal buckle in the shape of a “D” above the front cover that can be flipped open and closed. Today, the Dior saddle bag has become one of the iconic styles of the brand, and new styles are introduced every quarter, including different materials, colors and patterns to meet the diverse needs of consumers.
